Gerard set up the Bridge2Food company in 2002. Bridge2Food is a knowledge and platform agency based in The Netherlands. Its key strength is the development of specific platforms for the food industry: Building bridges between food professionals. Gerard is frequent speak at international business and research meetings on a range of topics related to innovation strategies, healthy ageing, sport nutrition, the world of proteins, new developments in the areas of plant proteins etc. His experience lies in business-to-consumer markets as well as business-to-business industries. Gerard worked internationally in the food industry for over 20 years after graduating in food chemistry from Wageningen University & Research Centre. He also holds a MBA in Strategic Marketing and lived in the Asia Pacific Region
